Product Description

QuaCell® Powerful Cryopreservation Medium is a general-purpose cell cryopreservation medium, which effectively reduces the physical damage caused by solute damage and ice crystal formation during cell cryopreservation through the synergistic action of intracellular and extracellular cryoprotectants, and achieves the effect of cell cryopreservation. This product is mainly suitable for the cryopreservation of mesenchymal stem cells from different tissue sources ( i.e. bone marrow, umbilical cord, placenta, adipose, etc.). The chemical composition of this product is well-defined, and it does not contain Dimethyl Sulfoxide (DMSO), Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS) and components of animal origin, and the raw materials are of pharmaceutical grade, which can effectively guarantee the quality of the cryopreservation of the cells and the safety of the multi-application scenarios.

Case Study 1: MSC cells were treated with QuaCell® Powerful Cryopreservation medium, regular DMSO cryoprotectant, and a DMSO-free cryoprotectant. After the resuscitation test, MSC survived at 96%, 96%, and 95.5%, respectively. There were no significant differences between the three frozen stock solutions (P> 0.05). The MS surface markers (CD44, CD73, CD90, and CD105) were expressed by more than 95% of the cultivated cells, indicating that freezing MSC with this product had no effect on their immunophenotype.

Case Study 2: Cells with cryopreservation densities ranging from 0.3×10⁶-30×10⁶ cells/mL were treated independently using QuaCell® Powerful Cryopreservation Medium. The results indicated that the product performed better at densities ranging from 0.3×10⁶cells/mL to 30×10⁶ cells/mL.
